"As athletes, we are on different career trajectories than our peers. We might need work that is flexible, remote, or just not right now! Connecting with the resources that empowHERed offers not only allowed me to get work that is flexible, but is giving me the tools I need to effectively find a full time job once competition winds down. In that way, it is a resource that serves female athletes at all points in their careers. Furthermore, all of the people in the empowHERed community with whom I have connected understand and value the female athlete experience. It is a great bridge between the athlete part of the sport world and the professional side, it values your experience as an athlete while expanding your toolbox to go wherever you want next."
